Cover art
I do virtually everything on this release myself, including cover art. My lovely wife Elin has taken the pictures. I'll be setting up a discography with previews of the album soon - including lyrics.

The saga continues
We're well into the mixing now. We'll have a finished master in a couple of weeks - in the meantime I'm busy setting up the cover (yes, I'm doing virtually everything on this release) and doing all the other stuff needed like arranging promotion and distribution and what have you.

Starting to mix
The mixing is starting now. We set up the first 4 songs today (1 is already done; "Take Two ..."), and will set up more tomorrow. Tor Øyvind Quille is doing the sound, levels, eq and the "real mixing", but I've layed out some leads to follow.
We both use the same brand of software; I use Steinberg Cubase SX 3 and he uses Nuendo 3, so the projects have already gone forth and back on my 40G iPod. Good thing I have that - the whole record is pushing 9 gig now - lots of unused files, though - but I've kept it all. You never know when you need it, and diskspace is cheap.

Music as a dayjob
So - I'm a full time musician now. Feels good - and maybe those 14 hours days will be history (one can hope). I'm taking it easy now the first couple of days - there's still guitar and backing vocals to be recorded and some drum-programming.
